It s an interior designer s job to consider how color and contrast work alongside acoustics and lighting to create ideal environments in which to live, relax, and work. As a University of New Haven interior design major you will learn to create beautiful, functional spaces that meet the needs of both individual and business clients.
Grade 12 / High School , Official certified copies of senior secondary/high school records, Letter of recommendation from an academic source (teacher or guidance counselor), Personal essay, An AEPP Certificate of Completion of Advanced Level 4, English for Academic Purposes (EAP) scores, Test scores: ACT, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Creative-field applicants may be assessed through academic preparation, creative ability, visual thinking and, where required, a portfolio. The portfolio may include finished work as well as sketches, experimentation, process development and written explanations. Architecture may value Mathematics, Physics, drawing and spatial thinking, while Art, Design and Fashion programs may place greater emphasis on originality, technical development and the creative process.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
