Being a great musician isn’t all about your musical talents! Your four-year academic experience will strengthen and refine your skills in communication, critical thinking, and collaboration. With a degree in music, upon graduation you will be prepared to:
perform as a soloist and in collaboration with other students and faculty;
clearly communicate music theory in oral, written, and electronic formats;
demonstrate critical thinking and analysis of music; and
express musical concepts and styles in an historically appropriate context.
