The B.A. in Music is a streamlined music degree focusing on the core subjects of music theory, performance and conducting, allowing you time to pursue a second major in another field. You’ll take lessons in the area of your choice, along with eight semesters of ensemble work to polish your skills. You may also develop your understanding and knowledge of music history or hone in on the study of jazz, classical music or rock and roll. Finally, you’ll work with the music faculty to develop a personal capstone project that combines your interests and areas of study.
