In the choral emphasis, you'll receive instruction and valuable experience in conducting, teaching voice, choral methods and performance, and you'll be able to observe and participate in real classroom settings. You'll gain an understanding of the International Phonetic Alphabet, your tool to a mastery of the pronunciation of foreign languages for singing. You'll also study educational psychology and observe and participate in real classrooms during field experiences and student teaching opportunities.
