Carroll UniversityStudents in the instrumental emphasis receive the skills necessary to teach a variety of instruments in large and small groups in schools. You’ll have lessons in woodwind, percussion, brass, string, voice and conducting, as well as ensemble experiences. You’ll also study educational psychology and observe and participate in real classrooms during field experiences and student teaching opportunities.

Profile Assessment: Creative-field applicants may be assessed through academic preparation, creative ability, visual thinking and, where required, a portfolio.
