Music in Worship Concentration

A worship music concentration within the Bachelor of Arts in Music program will equip you with critical theoretical and practical skills under the tutelage of faculty who are both accomplished musicians and church worship leaders. Personal feedback and mentoring from faculty will enable you to apply your classroom training to a church ministry setting as you build a foundation for successful worship leadership.Explore the role of faith in the arts as you hone your musical craft in the context of a broad liberal arts education. You'll compose in our Music Innovation Lab, study one-on-one with acclaimed faculty, and perform with a stunning floor-to-ceiling window view of Coy Pond in our state-of-the-art Phillips Recital Hall, designed by the architect behind the Boston Symphony Orchestra's Seiji Ozawa Hall.
