Whatever your musical instrument, Houghton's Bachelor of Music in Performance will bring out the best in your passion, while providing you the confidence to share your gifts with the world. Houghton understands the study of music doesn't fall within one genre, so explore the flexibility of choosing from four curriculum tracks: instrumental (brass, guitar, percussion, strings, or woodwinds), organ, piano, or voice.Developing the technical ability in performance through an exploration of sound and rhythm.Familiarizing yourself in the art of teamwork through ensemble and rehearsal.Improving your vocal abilities through breathing and production techniques.Experimenting with methods of creating and distributing sounds.Researching a future professional application in musical performance.Enhancing solo performance strategies to build stage confidence.
