The music education program will train you for an outstanding career as a musician and educator. You'll perform often and build technical proficiency with studio work. Plus, you'll be taught and mentored by professional musicians. In addition to your music studies, you'll take education courses and spend time observing and teaching in local music classrooms. You'll learn about child and adolescent development, exceptional learners, technology, curriculum, classroom strategies, methods of teaching and more.
