This program offer our students glimpses of the many meanings and consequences of musical thought, observation, and activity and for those interested in pursuing professional careers, a basic education that will form a solid foundation for future development. In most cases, but not all, studying music here is a continuation of childhood involvement. Typical music majors are those for whom music holds a special meaning.

Average iBT TOEFL combined score for admitted students was 108, with the following average sub-scores: Listening 28, Reading 29, Speaking 24, and Writing 27. Audition US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Creative-field applicants may be assessed through academic preparation, creative ability, visual thinking and, where required, a portfolio. The portfolio may include finished work as well as sketches, experimentation, process development and written explanations. Architecture may value Mathematics, Physics, drawing and spatial thinking, while Art, Design and Fashion programs may place greater emphasis on originality, technical development and the creative process.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school. Relevant APs can strengthen an application and may earn university credit, but are not compulsory unless the university or programme explicitly requires them.Extracurricular activities: Estimated extracurricular contribution: 20–25%. Princeton values intellectual curiosity, achievement, leadership, service and contribution to others. Activities demonstrating community responsibility are especially relevant because Princeton asks applicants to reflect on service and civic engagement.
