Program Overview

Composition majors are encouraged to explore composition across an array of styles and genres, including contemporary, classical, electronic music, jazz, indie rock, contemporary Christian, singer-songwriter, gospel, folk, and film music. Student composers participate in master classes with guest ensembles and composers-in-residence and partner with chamber groups and large ensembles for reading/recording sessions, rehearsals, and concert performances.
