Program Overview

The viola program leads the student to a performance degree specializing in the technique and performance of the viola. The viola program at the UC College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) attracts the mostly highly talented violists from around the world. Artists who have been educated in CCM s environment of excellence can be found on international stages as soloists, recitalists, chamber musicians, and orchestral musicians. Students enrolled in our undergraduate program regularly take part and claim top prizes in the most competitive international competitions, including the Tertis, Sphinx, and Primose competitions.
