Program Overview

The violin program prepares the student to attain a performance degree specializing in the technical and musical development pertaining to performance of the violin. The UC College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) provides a comprehensive and varied orchestral education for its students, from large orchestral performances to smaller groups focusing on specific periods as well as contemporary music. CCM also offers a vibrant chamber music program for enrolled students with regular semester performances and an annual chamber music competition. Additionally, CCM holds a minimum of one violin competition annually where the winner performs their concerto with either the CCM Philharmonia or Concert Orchestra.
