Program Overview

The Worship Arts major at Asbury is dedicated to equipping young men and women in using the arts to engage their culture with the truth and love of Jesus Christ. It is a program where passion runs alongside excellence in practice, where classes are designed to lead your heart as well as train your mind. We want to use music, the visual arts, and drama to lead people who don t know Jesus to Him and to lead those who do know Him closer to Him.

Completed Asbury Academy application, official high school transcript showing a weighted cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher for high school seniors and a 3.25 or higher for high school juniors, Official examination scores from the ACT or SAT are required for admittance to certain classes ENG 110 Exposition and Research ACT English 22 / SAT Critical Reading 510, ENG 151 Advanced Exposition and Research ACT English 27 / SAT Critical Reading 660, MAT 120 Viewing Life Mathematically ACT Math 22 / SAT Math 510, Academic Recommendation letter, Written permission from a parent or guardian, English Proficiency Tests: a minimum score of 80 on the internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL or 550 on the paper-based TOEFL. IELTS applicants must present a minimum score of 6.5, Statement of Financial Responsibility
