"The Stanislaus State Theatre Department is built on the premise stated by the famed English director Peter Brook, ""a play is called a play for a very important reason a play is play."" We want our theatre students and the people who attend our theatre to enjoy the process of theatre by reveling in the camaraderie of the ensemble in the production process.
