Theatre Major

Luther College provides you with the foundation you need to prepare for a variety of roles in theatre. You’ll work closely with our theatre faculty as well as across the disciplines of dance, music, and art. You’ll gain experience in the classroom and in productions to help you excel in auditions and internships. The experience you gain through Luther’s theatre program will improve your technical skills and help you chart your own career path. Luther faculty members will also invest time and energy in helping you discover your strengths and interests. In Luther’s theatre program, you’ll not only practice your craft—you’ll also develop your intellect. Through discussion and exploration, you’ll learn how plays are both a product of and an influence on their culture and historical context.
