The Bachelor of Science Degree in Dance Education (Entrepreneurship Emphasis) is intended for the student who aspires to teaching dance in the private, nonprofit, or collegiate studio setting. In addition to completing dance course requirements, the candidate must also complete courses in entrepreneurship, independent study studio teaching internships, and complete an independent study business plan. Graduates of the program go on to teach in dance programs in private and nonprofit schools and studios, perform and teach in dance companies that work in arts in education, or pursue graduate school in areas such as dance, education, counseling, and dance therapy.
