Program Overview

A Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in Instrumental Performance enables students to develop and refine their God-given gifts on their particular instrument. Students in the emphasis will prepare and present required Junior and Senior recitals, with the possibility of an optional Sophomore recital. Students are guided in this process by gifted and dedicated faculty with excellent professional experience, who will help you learn to excel as a performer.

Completed Asbury Academy application, official high school transcript showing a weighted cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher for high school seniors and a 3.25 or higher for high school juniors, Official examination scores from the ACT or SAT are required for admittance to certain classes ENG 110 Exposition and Research ACT English 22 / SAT Critical Reading 510, ENG 151 Advanced Exposition and Research ACT English 27 / SAT Critical Reading 660, MAT 120 Viewing Life Mathematically ACT Math 22 / SAT Math 510, Academic Recommendation letter, Written permission from a parent or guardian, English Proficiency Tests: a minimum score of 80 on the internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL or 550 on the paper-based TOEFL.
