Accounting is a dynamic field, characterized by continuous change in response to changing business practices. Financial Accounting deals with the preparation of financial statements by management and the auditing and attestation of these statements by public auditors. Managerial Accounting deals with internal reporting within the company, using the same accounting information system and other knowledge sources. The third component to accounting practice is the tax practice, which involves providing legal, ethical, and technical expertise in the preparation of tax returns on behalf of organizations and individuals
