This major prepares students for many careers in business and accounting or for graduate study.Students planning to take the CPA exam in Ohio and most other states are required to have 150 hours of education with at least a baccalaureate degree in accounting. Additional Information & Requirements

In order to declare a major or minor in Accounting, a student must have either a) a 2.5 cumulative University grade point average, or b) a 2.0 cumulative University grade point average and have earned a B grade in one course in the intended major or minor track.Students who pass A-Levels in Accounting with a C or better will receive a total of only one credit, and that will be for ACCT 217.
