BSBA Accounting

Pre-business administration is a specialized two-semester program in UMaine s nationally recognized Explorations program, a unique one-year program for first-year students who are undecided about a major. In their first semester, admitted students take courses designed to prepare them to transfer into one of the four academic majors offered by the Maine Business School: management, marketing, finance or accounting. A concentration in international business is also available. It is a unique opportunity for students to work closely with an academic adviser and other professionals on campus who will guide them through their first year of coursework while earning the necessary grade point average to move into their chosen major in the Maine Business School.
