Program Overview

Drexel’s BSBA in Marketing at the LeBow College of Business offers a dynamic curriculum that blends theoretical knowledge with real-world experience. Students complete 180 - 186 quarter credits and can choose from Three Co-op (5 years), One Co-op (4 years), or No Co-op (4 years).

The program prepares students for diverse careers in product and brand management, marketing research, advertising, digital marketing, sales, public relations, and analytics.

Drexel’s program is known for its strong industry integration through co-ops and internships, as well as flexible electives that allow students to specialize in areas such as digital marketing, customer analytics, or global marketing.

Course overview

  • Year 1: General education, foundational business courses (ECON, MATH, English, Civic Engagement).

  • Year 2: Begin business law, statistics, and foundational marketing courses; first co-op for students in co-op track.

  • Year 3: Intermediate marketing core courses like Consumer Behavior and Marketing Insights; additional co-op or internships.

  • Year 4/5: Advanced marketing electives, strategy capstone (MKTG 380), business impact electives, free electives, and final co-op rotations.

Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)

Co-op program:

  • Up to 18 months of paid, full-time work experience at companies like Comcast, Vanguard, Johnson & Johnson, and leading ad agencies.

Projects & Internships:

  • Students not in co-op are encouraged to pursue internships or consulting projects.
