4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
The Human Resource Management (HRM) major at Florida State University equips students with the skills and knowledge to lead in diverse HR roles across private, public, and nonprofit sectors. Offered as a concentration within the Bachelor of Science in Management, the HRM major focuses on essential HR functions such as staffing, benefits and compensation, labor relations, employee development, and strategic HR planning.
The curriculum is continuously updated with insights from faculty and the Human Resource Advisory Board, ensuring alignment with current industry practices. The program integrates foundational business coursework with specialized HR instruction, supported by strong experiential learning, networking, and internship opportunities. Highly qualified students may pursue an accelerated BS-HRM/MBA pathway, double-counting up to 9 credits toward both degrees.

STA 2023: Business Statistics
Minimum GPA: Ranges from 2.70 to 2.90 at various checkpoints
