Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) at NC State University offers a broad-based business education with strong emphasis on ethical decision-making, global perspectives, and analytical skills. Through a combination of general education, core business courses, and specialized concentrations, students gain practical competencies in leadership, communication, and critical thinking, making them well-equipped for dynamic careers across industries.

The program integrates real-world exposure and professional development from the outset, beginning with the M 100: Personal & Professional Identity course in the first year. Students can tailor their learning by selecting one of several concentrations, including finance, marketing, business analytics, IT, or operations/ supply chain management.   • Principles of Microeconomics

  • Free elective: GEP: Health & Exercise Studies

Year 2:

  • Introduction to Managerial Accounting

  • Intro to Business Analytics

Year 3:

  • Continue with major core courses and begin concentration
