Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Entrepreneurship at Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business is a nationally recognized, AACSB-accredited program designed to develop entrepreneurial leaders equipped to launch ventures, innovate within corporations, or lead family businesses. 

The program offers flexibility through a wide selection of electives, including social entrepreneurship, family business, corporate innovation, and consulting. OSU’s School of Entrepreneurship is consistently ranked among the top in the U.S. for entrepreneurship education.

Course Overview:

  • Year 1: First Year Seminar, Composition I or Critical Analysis and Writing I, Survey of American History or American History to 1865 or American History Since 1865, Business Data Science Technologies, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, American Government, Business Analytics Fundamentals 

  • Year 2: Survey of Accounting, Career Planning for Business Success, Entrepreneurship & Society, Fundamentals of Management, Microeconomic Principles for Business, Business Model Discovery, Principles of Data Analytics, Marketing.

  • Year 3: Professional Development for Business Success, Finance, Legal and Regulatory Environment of Business, Entrepreneurial Marketing, Imagination in Entrepreneurship, Practical Business and Interpersonal Skills

  • Year 4: Venture Capital, Strategic Management, Upper Business Division, Electives

Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)

  • Business Plan Competitions: OSU teams regularly compete and win at state and national levels, including LOVE’s Cup.

  • Internships: Entrepreneurship-specific internship opportunities through the Riata Center and the Eastin Center for Career Readiness.
