Drawing on skills and knowledge from multiple disciplines, schools, and colleges, the minor in Arts Administration and Advocacy provides students with transferable skills suitable to work in the commercial or non-profit arts. Students in the fine, creative, and performing arts will have an understanding of current practices in management, funding, budgeting, mission fulfillment, and public relations for artists and arts organizations, as well as tools to advocate for the value of the arts.
