Program Overview

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at the University of Illinois Chicago is a flexible, AACSB-accredited degree completion program specifically designed for students who have already earned an associate’s degree or completed at least 60 college-level credits. Offered both on-campus and fully online, the BBA provides a rigorous and career-focused business education that prepares students for leadership roles across industries.

Students complete a structured curriculum covering core areas such as accounting, finance, marketing, management, operations, statistics, and information systems. Admission Requirements:

    • Principles of Microeconomics & Macroeconomics

    • Mathematics (Finite Math, Linear Algebra, Calculus, or Business Calculus)

    • General Education in arts, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences

Upper Division Curriculum (60 credits): Introduction to Financial Accounting, Introduction to Managerial Accounting, Business Communication, Introduction to Finance, Introduction to Management Information Systems, Business Statistics I, Operations Management, Introduction to Organizations, Business and Its External Environment, Competitive Strategy, Introduction to Marketing, Microeconomics: Theory and Applications, Business Electives
