5 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
The BS Business Administration in International Business–Management at the University of Missouri combines business management with international studies, second-language learning, and global business coursework. Curriculum Structure
Year 1: Students build their academic and business foundation through courses such as Foundations of Business and Professional Development Principles, mathematics, economics, English, humanities, and second-language study. Year 2: Students develop core business knowledge through Accounting I and II, Intermediate Professional Development Principles, economics, statistics, mathematics, Principles of Management, and continued second-language coursework. These subjects establish the analytical, financial, and managerial foundation required for advanced business study.
Year 3: Students move into advanced business and international coursework, including Advanced Professional Development Principles, Introduction to Business Processes and Technologies, Introduction to Business Law, International Business, economics, political science, international humanities, and additional language study. The curriculum also includes international-focused area support courses covering subjects such as culture, geography, government, and history.
Year 4: Students study Corporate Finance, Principles of Marketing, management courses, international humanities, geography, and complete the Trulaske Edge Program internship. The program also incorporates additional management and international studies coursework.
Year 5: Students complete advanced management subjects including MANGMT 4010, MANGMT 4030, and Strategic Management, together with additional management and international area-support courses. The official 2026–27 catalog lists the program at approximately 139–141 credits, depending on course choices.
