Major Requirements:

  • One Skills Elective

  • Management Internship for Credit (pre-approved)

  • Three Sports Business Topics or Analytics Track Courses (e.g., Sports Finance, Sports Marketing, Sports Analytics, Licensing & IP, Sports Economics, Management Practicum)

  • One Sports Business Elective from approved list

Business Core:

  • Legal Environment of Business

  • Principles of Organization and Management

  • Principles of Marketing and Supply Chain Management

  • Business Strategy and Policy (Capstone)

Additional Business Requirements:

  • Fundamental Managerial Accounting

  • Career Readiness I

  • Career Readiness II

  • Innovation & Entrepreneurship

  • Business Finance

General Education & Basic Business Prerequisites:

  • General Education: English Composition, Math, Natural Science, Social Science, Arts & Humanities, First-Year Experience

Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)

Required Internship:

  • Mandatory for all students

  • Partnerships with organizations such as the X Games, Oklahoma City Thunder, OU Athletics, PGA, and Learfield Sports

Study Abroad:

  • Specialized programs in London, France, Japan, and South Africa focusing on global sports business
