Program Overview

The BSBA in Finance at the Darla Moore School of Business equips students to make informed financial decisions in a variety of professional settings, focusing on valuation, risk analysis, capital markets, and strategic investments. Students engage with real-world problems such as investment choices, project funding, and corporate financial management.

The curriculum includes a rigorous foundation in accounting, statistics, economics, and management, followed by specialized finance courses.   • Business Core: Computer Information Systems, Economics, Financial & Managerial Accounting, Professional Communication

  • Finance Core:

    • FINA 363 – Introduction to Finance

    • FINA 365 – Corporate Financial Analysis

    • FINA 469 – Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management

    • FINA 470 – Financial Statement Analysis

  • Finance Electives (6 credits) – e.g., FINA 444, 463, 464, 472, 475

  • Business Electives (6 credits) – Advanced courses across business disciplines

  • Strategic Management (Capstone), Minor/Cognate, International courses

Optional Concentrations:
