Curriculum Structure

Year 1: Students begin by developing a strong foundation in business, economics, mathematics, and communication through courses such as The Business Enterprise I, The Business Enterprise II, and Business Communications. Information Technology, Financial Accounting, and Principles of Microeconomics introduce them to essential business functions, while the Professional Development Series I helps them begin exploring their academic and career interests.

Year 2: Students strengthen their analytical and management skills through Decision Analysis, Managerial Accounting, and Principles of Macroeconomics. Courses such as Leadership & Organizational Behavior, Marketing Management, and Operations Management introduce them to how organisations manage people, customers, resources, and business processes. By the end of this stage, students are encouraged to select their interdisciplinary theme and business concentration.

Year 3: Students move into specialised business learning through Managerial Finance, Marketing Research, and concentration-specific courses in Accounting, Business Analytics, Finance, or Marketing. Depending on their selected pathway, they may explore subjects such as Digital Marketing, Financial Technology and Analytics, or Corporate Financial Reporting, while continuing their professional development through BUS 3102.

Year 4: Students bring their business knowledge together through advanced concentration courses and an interdisciplinary capstone connected to their selected theme. Options include Global Business Strategic Capstone (BUS 4920), Sustainable Business Strategic Capstone (BUS 4930), or approved entrepreneurship-focused coursework, allowing students to apply their learning to complex business and organisational challenges.
