The Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business offers a robust and flexible curriculum that integrates a strong liberal arts foundation with comprehensive business education. Students are equipped with critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills and have the option to either explore multiple disciplines or specialize by choosing one of several in-demand majors such as Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, or Entrepreneurship.
Students admitted directly from high school (Freshman Direct) benefit from early access to Foster’s professional development resources, while others can enter through the competitive Upper-Division Admission pathway. A minimum level of preparation in six subject areas must be met for admission.The freshman application is available September 1 each year. The application includes self-reporting your academic history, two essays, demographic information and your intended first-choice and second-choice majorAdditional information about yourself or your circumstances: Maximum length: 200 words. You are not required to write anything in this section, but you may include additional information here if something has particular significance to you. For example, you may use this space if You have experienced personal hardships in attaining your education, Your activities have been limited because of work or family obligations, or You have experienced unusual limitations or opportunities unique to the schools you attendedInternational students must submit English proficiency test scores that meet the minimum requirement for admission.Do not send high school or college transcripts unless you receive a request from the Office of Admissions.
