4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
The Bachelor of Business Administration in Management at the University of Oklahoma prepares students to lead people and organizations by combining business fundamentals with management, organizational behavior, human capital, negotiation and strategic decision-making. Curriculum Structure
Year 1: Students establish their business foundation through courses such as ECON 1113 – Principles of Economics-Macro, ECON 1123 – Principles of Economics-Micro, B AD 1001 – Personal Computing Productivity Tools and MIS 2113 – Computer-Based Information Systems. These subjects introduce students to economic decision-making, digital productivity and the information systems used in modern business.
Year 2: Students develop core business knowledge through ACCT 2113 – Fundamental Financial Accounting, ACCT 2123 – Fundamental Managerial Accounting, FIN 2303 – Business Finance and ENT 2113 – Innovation & Entrepreneurship. They also complete B AD 2091 – Career Readiness I-Transitioning to the Workplace, connecting business concepts with professional preparation.
Year 3: Students begin focused management study with MGT 3013 – Principles of Organization and Management, MGT 3363 – Understanding Organizational Behavior and MGT 3513 – Managing Human Capital and Talent. The curriculum also includes MKT 3013 – Principles of Marketing, L S 3323 – Legal Environment of Business and B AD 3091 – Career Readiness II-Advancing in the Workplace, broadening students' understanding of organizations and professional practice.
Year 4: In the final year, students deepen their management expertise through upper-division MGT electives and complete B AD 4013 – Business Strategy and Policy, the program's capstone course taken in the final semester. Elective choices can include areas such as International Human Resource Management, Managing Across Cultures, consulting, negotiation, supervision and other specialized management topics.

Capstone in Spain: Students can take B AD 4013 – Business Policy and Strategy in Alcalá de Henares, Spain, where classroom learning is combined with business tours, trips to other cities and areas of Spain, museum visits and cultural activities.
JCPenney Leadership Program: High-performing undergraduate business students can develop leadership skills through corporate site visits, nonprofit board experiences, C-suite executive shadowing, conferences and networking opportunities.
Management and International Business Association: Students can develop management and international-business skills while building professional connections through this student organization.
