BUS325 – Introduction to Finance and Budgeting or ACC201 – Financial Accounting develops financial literacy, while INE247 – The Business of Innovation: The Design Process introduces structured approaches to innovation and problem-solving. Students also explore social entrepreneurship through INE304G – Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

Year 3 – Applying Management and Analytical Knowledge

Students move into more advanced business topics, examining how organizations operate and how managers lead people and projects. MGT341 – Organizational Behavior and MGT343 – Skills Development in Organizational Behavior develop an understanding of workplace dynamics, leadership, and professional relationships. Students may also pursue BAI310 – Business Data Analysis with Excel to strengthen their ability to interpret business information and support decisions.

Year 4 – Specialization and Professional Experience

In the final stage, students consolidate their learning through advanced electives, a selected career pathway, and practical workplace experience. SCA415 – Project Management develops project planning and coordination skills, while pathway courses and an approved internship, co-op, or work experience help students connect academic learning with professional responsibilities. Students can focus their studies on Sports Management, Human Resources Leadership, or Tourism Leadership according to their career interests.
