The Communication Department Honors Program is designed for seniors who wish to undertake an extended research or creative production project under supervision of a Communication faculty member. Because the Honors Program requires a two-quarter sequence of courses and classes are generally smaller, students get an opportunity to work at length with faculty and other students on an individual project. Students who have special interests and plan to go on to graduate school or plan to work in fields of production are strongly recommended to apply to the Honors Program.

Academic Records, Test scores: ACT Writing Test, SAT Reasoning Test, TOEFL score of 550 on the paper-based or 83 on the Internet-based, IELTS score of 7, Personal Insight Questions, GPA of 3.4 (or better), Financial Documentation

Teacher/Educator, Historian, Historical Site or Museum Administrator, Researcher for a Historical Organization, Cultural Resources Manager, Writer/Editor for History Publications, Documentary Editor or Producer, Records Manager or Archivist, Information Manager or Librarian, Work in Legislation or Litigation, Contract Historian and Historian for a Corporation or Business.
