BA International Studies in European Studies

European studies is an emphasis area in the International Studies major. Students who are studying French, Spanish, German, Italian or Russian may wish to select European studies as their emphasis area. The student examines the politics, culture, history and geography of the European continent, with a focus on the country whose native language is being studied by the student. The program prepares students for graduate study and careers in academia, teaching, law, business, public policy, humanitarian aid, non-profit organizations, government, and diplomacy.
