Program Overview

The program is designed to give students the knowledge, skills, and experience needed to understand and make international business decisions in a cross- and multicultural context. The program includes two core courses, two language courses, and three elective courses from a variety of disciplines, including anthropology, political science, economics, geography, and history.West Chester University is preparing graduates to succeed in an ever growing global economy through preparation for international careers. The International Business minor is rooted in the College of Business and Public Management, but draws from a wide range of disciplines across the university such as anthropology, literature, economics and finance, geography, history, and political science. The program's flexible design allows students to choose courses that focus on a particular country or region, creating a specialization in that region.
