Program Overview

Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Marketing, designed to prepare students for a wide range of roles across digital, brand, research, sales, and strategic marketing. With a strong foundation in business and a flexible structure, the program allows students to specialize in areas such as analytics, digital strategy, or product development. Students can choose from three academic pathways: Three Co-op (5 years), One Co-op (4 years), or No Co-op (4 years), all totaling 180 - 186 quarter credits.

The curriculum emphasizes analytical thinking, creativity, and communication, reinforced by practical experience through Drexel’s renowned co-op program and Philadelphia’s active marketing and media ecosystem.

Course overview:

  • Years 1 & 2: Core business courses in economics, accounting, business law, analytics, and foundational marketing, along with general education in math, civic engagement, and communication.

  • Years 3 & 4/5: Major courses such as Marketing Insights, Consumer Behavior, and Seminar in Marketing Strategy, alongside electives like Digital Marketing, Brand and Reputation Management, Global Marketing, Customer Analytics, and New Product Development.

  • Writing-Intensive: Three courses, including two within the marketing major, after freshman year.

Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)

Co-op Program:

  • Up to 18 months of full-time, paid experience in roles at top employers including Comcast, Johnson & Johnson, Vanguard, and leading advertising agencies.

Internships & Projects:

  • Non-co-op students are supported in securing internships and participating in real-world marketing projects.

Student Engagement:

  • Marketing and advertising clubs, case competitions, national conferences, and industry speaker events expand learning beyond the classroom.
