Program Overview

The B.B.A. in Business Technology combines business management with programming, databases, cloud computing, information systems, and emerging technologies, preparing students to work at the intersection of business and technology. Curriculum Structure

Freshman Year

Students begin with core business and quantitative subjects such as Principles of Microeconomics, Managing for Success in the Global Environment, Foundations of Marketing, and Calculus I. They also develop their communication skills through First-Year Writing and begin building a foundation in business technology through the broader BBA curriculum.

Sophomore Year

The second year introduces more direct technology and business applications through Fundamentals of Business Technology and Innovation, Fundamentals of Tech Project Management, and business subjects such as Managerial Accounting and Fundamentals of Finance. Students also strengthen their analytical and quantitative abilities through Intermediate Business Statistics while developing professional communication and critical-thinking skills.

Junior Year

Students move into more technical study with Python Programming: Fundamentals and Algorithms and Database Management Systems, while continuing subjects such as Organizational Behavior and Operations Management. The programme also allows students to select major courses that can extend their interests into areas such as generative AI, information systems, AI, machine learning, fintech, and technology entrepreneurship.

Senior Year

In the final year, students study Web-Mobile-Cloud, complete a Business Technology major-choice course, and finish with Strategic Management alongside electives and cognate requirements. Web-Mobile-Cloud introduces cloud computing and platforms including Google App Engine, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services, helping students connect technical knowledge with enterprise applications.
