Students in either the CS or CIS program may elect to complete one of these specializations by choosing their computer science electives and free electives appropriately, or by taking extra classes. The student must receive department approval and notify the Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs. A minimum of four courses are required for a specialization.

Counselor/Teacher Evaluation, Letter of recommendation, High school/Secondary school transcripts, Either the SAT I or ACT test scores, TOEFL or IELTS score report.

Systems analysts, Systems database administrators, Application database administrators, Systems designers and architects, Software quality assurance (QA) analysts, Computer Information Systems Department Chair, Computer Information Systems Instructor (CIS Instructor), Computer Information Systems Professor (CIS Professor)
