Computer science is the study of algorithms — problem solving methods — and how to express solutions in software to be run on a computer. In today’s world, computer scientists are found working in almost every field, from healthcare to defense and security, and from entertainment to online retail industry. They use problem-solving and teamwork skills to solve real-world problems.

- GPA of 3.4 out of (4.0 score)
- An official secondary/high school transcript indicating courses completed and grades.
- TOEFL iBT: 80 or IELTS 6.5 overall.
- One letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor is required. You may submit up to three academic letters. You are also permitted to submit an additional character reference.
- A brief personal statement or college essay, using either the Manhattan College essay topic or one of the Common Application essay topics. This essay should be roughly 500 words.
