The BS in Computer Science is designed for those interested in software and computer systems on the technical side. Graduates can find fulfilling careers in many related areas such as cybersecurity, networks, Internet programming, software and mobile apps development, data science, AI, graphics or they can pursue additional graduate studies in computer science or in a more specialized area.
Application form; Proof of English proficiency : Minimum requirements are 61 TOEFL, 5.5 IELTS, or 44 PTE-A, or 85-90 Duolingo; all high schools Transcripts; Copy of your passport; Statement of finances; Affidavit of support; Copy of any current US visa. US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Applicants are generally expected to demonstrate strong quantitative ability, particularly in Mathematics. Advanced Calculus, Statistics, Computer Science or Physics can support academic preparation. Coding projects, applications, websites, hackathons, research, data-analysis projects and technology-based solutions may demonstrate technical curiosity and practical ability. Previous coding experience is helpful but is not compulsory at every university.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
