The BA in Computer and Data Science is a rigorous interdisciplinary joint major offered by NYU’s Department of Computer Science and the Center for Data Science. The program equips students with the theoretical foundations and applied skills required to design data systems, analyze large datasets, and critically assess the societal and ethical implications of data-driven technologies. The curriculum blends core computer science with modern data science methods and statistical reasoning.
