This multidisciplinary major will prepare students to enter an indemand profession Today, data scientists analyze data and possess programming skills but Vanguard University graduates will master the full spectrum of the data science lifecycle and possess flexibility and understanding to maximize returns at each phase of the data science process Alumni will be prepared to progress toward a graduate degree in BIG DATA This major blends skills and knowledge from mathematics, statistics, business, computer science and research methodologies A new computing lab for applied mathematics was constructed in 2018 from over $65,000 in grant funds
