Carroll University’s informational technology major prepares you for a career in a field that has consistently ranked among the top ten most in demand occupations in the U.S. in recent years. Our program balances theory and practice, and focuses on developing the problem-solving skills you’ll need to keep pace in a field characterized by rapid technological change. There are courses available in computer hardware, database design, mobile app development, website development, computer networks and security, information and project management. You’ll also explore specific technology areas while learning to address real-world business opportunities and challenges, both in advanced lab classes and through internships. Our program provides students with additional experience in management principles, computational thinking and business communication.
