University of Northern IowaThere’s a national need for industrial technology teachers, and here at UNI, we lead the state – graduating more industrial technology teachers than any other institution. Our program is the largest of its kind in Iowa, preparing graduates to teach industrial arts at the high school level.
Coursework includes training in: computer-aided design, automotive, woods, metals and other in-demand areas. You’ll also learn effective curriculum planning, teaching methods, and classroom and lab management – preparing you to be the best teacher possible.
