Such studies include both normal and abnormal behavior, aptitude, perception, development and individual differences. Psychology seeks to explain and understand human emotions, thought patterns and motives. There are many sub-branches of psychology including social, educational, developmental, abnormal, clinical, physiological, personality, industrial, sports, and counseling psychology to name a few. Completed Asbury Academy application, official high school transcript showing a weighted cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher for high school seniors and a 3.25 or higher for high school juniors, Official examination scores from the ACT or SAT are required for admittance to certain classes ENG 110 Exposition and Research ACT English 22 / SAT Critical Reading 510, ENG 151 Advanced Exposition and Research ACT English 27 / SAT Critical Reading 660, MAT 120 Viewing Life Mathematically ACT Math 22 / SAT Math 510, Academic Recommendation letter, Written permission from a parent or guardian, English Proficiency Tests: a minimum score of 80 on the internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL or 550 on the paper-based TOEFL.
