4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program
The Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education prepares candidates to meet the needs of students PreK through grade 4 in schools within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Students are required to meet PennWest University's guidelines for "Admission to Teacher Education." Upon completion of the competencies in Early Childhood Education and 120 credit hours, the student is awarded a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree. After successfully passing the designated teacher certification examinations and meeting other Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements, students are recommended to the Commonwealth for teaching certification.
