Teach middle- and high-school students the mathematical skills they need for success. In this bachelor of science program, you will build a strong foundation of mathematics, learn pedagogical strategies, and gain hands-on experience through supervised student teaching placements at New York City public middle and high schools. This program leads to eligibility for initial teaching certification in Teaching Mathematics, grades 7-12, in New York State and most other states. It also qualifies you to teach mathematics in grades 5 and 6.
