Child development is a diversified, multidisciplinary field. The main focus is on the changes in physicalmotor, cognitive, language and socialemotional development of the child from birth to adolescence. Child development encompasses both the study of scientific principles of development and the application of these principles to children's education and welfare.
For admission to the CSU, graduation from high school and receipt of a high school diploma are admission requirements. At the baccalaureate level, a minimum score of 500 on the paperbased exam or a score of 61 on the internet (TOEFL iBT) version is required on most campuses; ACTSAT Scores.
