University of Northern IowaThe Comprehensive Secondary Science teaching major at UNI combines a broad education in science with UNI’s outstanding teacher preparation program. This major is intended for students who wish to teach all areas of science in grades 7-12, and leads to Iowa endorsements in biology, chemistry, earth science, physics, physical sciences and all science. Students will take a variety of science content and methods courses, along with professional education courses and intensive field and student teaching experiences. Our graduates are widely sought after by school districts, because they are able to teach all science subjects.
